　　一、主　题：Spectral geometry of toric manifolds (via polytopes)

　　六、交流内容：

　　Delzant polytopes are very special convex polytopes, but they play a very important role in differential geometry: they are in one-to-one correspondence with toric manifolds (which are sympletic manifolds with maximal toric symmetry), and many geometric information of toric manifolds can be obtained from the polytope data. In this talk I will explain how the polytope structure can be used to study the eigenvalues of Laplace-type operators on toric manifolds.

　　七、主讲人简介：

　　王作勤，2008年博士毕业于 MIT，后分别在 Johns Hopkins University 和University of Michigan 工作。2013年回到中国科学技术大学数学科学学院工作，担任教授、博导，主要从事微分几何（谱几何，辛几何）以及微局部分析（半经典分析）方面的理论研究。
