　　五、内容简介：

　　Revision is an essential part of writing and a crucial skill set for writers to develop in order to produce a good quality piece of writing. Unfortunately, it tends to be underemphasized in classroom instruction. In this talk, I will appraise revision as a teaching strategy as well as its research tradition. In doing so, I will report a study (Chen, Zhang, & Parr, 2020) on how two types of writing evaluation criteria-based L2 instruction embedded in the SRSD model worked to improve students’ revision and text quality. I will discuss the findings and conclude my talk with implications for classroom pedagogy.

　　Zhang Jun，Lawrence（张军），现任新西兰奥克兰大学教育学部副部长、教授、博士生导师、电子科技大学客座教授。2016年当选世界英语教师协会（TESOL）全球领军学者之一。曾任知名SSCI国际期刊TESOL Quarterly的常任栏目主编（201-2019）、Frontiers in Psychology: Educational Psychology副主编及Elsevier出版社的期刊System（SSCI）的联合主编。担任SSCI期刊Applied Linguistics Review, Journal of Second Language Writing, Metacognition and Learning等16家国际期刊编委，Routledge, Springer, Multilingual Matters等6家国际出版社书稿审阅人。发表论文、书评、章节130余篇（其中SSCI期刊62篇），指导31位博士毕业。美国TESOL国际学会2011年度“最佳科研论文奖”唯一得主；美国应用语言学学会“优秀论文奖评选委员会”副主任（2015-2018）；TESOL国际学会理事会常任理事（2017-2020）。现任中国英语写作教学与研究专业委员会副会长，中国学术英语教学研究会常务理事，美国应用语言学学会会员，TESOL协会会员，新西兰应用语言学学会会员、常务理事、秘书长以及欧洲学术写作教学研究会会员。研究兴趣包括英语二语读写发展、学术英语写作等。
