　　六、内容简介：

　　In this talk, we study the initial-boundary value problem for infinitely degenerate semi-linear parabolic equations  with logarithmic nonlinearity:  $u_t-\triangle_{X} u=u\log|u|$,  where $X=(X_1, X_2, \cdots , X_m)$ is an infinitely degenerate system of vector fields, and $\triangle_{X}:=\sum^{m}_{j=1}X^{2}_{j}$  is an infinitely degenerate elliptic operator. Using potential well method, we first prove the invariance of some sets and vacuum isolating of solutions. Then, by the Galerkin  method and the logarithmic Sobolev inequality, we obtain the global existence and blow-up at $+\infty$ of solutions with low initial energy or critical initial energy, and we also discuss the asymptotic behavior of the solutions.

　　七、主讲人简介：

　　陈化，武汉大学数学与统计学院教授、博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者。现任武汉大学数学协同创新中心主任、国务院数学学科评议组成员、国家基金委数学学科评委、湖北省暨武汉数学会理事长、中国数学会常务理事和武汉市科协常委。主要从事偏微分方程的微局部分析理论、奇异型和退化型偏微分方程、具生物和医学背景的偏微分方程和偏微分方程的谱理论等研究。在国内外一流SCI数学刊物上发表论文80多篇，在国外出版书籍3本；获教育部自然科学奖一等奖、教育部科技进步奖二等奖（2次）等；先后主持“八五”“九五”“十一五”“十二五”“十三五”国家重点项目、国家杰出青年基金、国家海外杰出青年合作基金、国际合作项目等17项国家自然科学基金项目，教育部跨世纪优秀人才基金等9项教育部项目，国家基金委天元基金交叉平台项目等，任973核心数学国家重大项目项目组成员。担任Kinetic and Related Models，International J. of Numerical Analysis and Modeling，J. of Pseudo-Differential Operators and Applications，Acta. Math. Sci.，《数学学报》等重要学术期刊编委。多次应邀在牛津大学、剑桥大学、伦敦帝国理工学院、巴黎十一大、巴黎六大、加州大学伯克利分校、加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学、波恩大学、澳大利亚国立大学、东京大学、京都大学和新加坡国立大学等国际一流大学做学术报告。
