  五、内容简介:

  The rolling element bearings may prematurely fail due to several reasons including harsh operating conditions, dust/dirt ingress in raceway areas, improper mounting conditions. This talk will explore how a damaged inner or outer race of the bearing manifests itself in the changed vibration behavior of the bearing. Using simulations accounting for the various dynamic effects, bearing fault identification and classification is attempted based on instantaneous energy and autocorrelation. The results are validated through experimental measurements and analysis. The coefficient of variation and Chi-square test statistic allows defect classification in the bearings.
